Proud to be invited by PLANT STUDIO (Bruno Oppido and João Linneu) to develop the design and art direction alongside them, working as Lead Designer, for an United Nations initiative. When water has a problem, the world has a problem. The Drop Store is a fictional, dystopian web-shop that sells imaginary products originating from a world where the water crisis has progressed to dire levels. Through the use of 3D animation, inventive product copy, and fabricated user reviews the creators of this project sought to create awareness of the emerging water crisis, and how water affects everything and everyone. By creating this grim glimpse into how water could affect our every day essentials, this site carries an important message while being entertaining.
