DAVID has grown and changed a lot since it was first created ten years ago. An amazing journey that took the agency from one small office to a creative powerhouse with six offices on three continents and a remarkable portfolio of work and awards. From a graphic design standpoint, the old log was inaccurate as it was based on the story of a single individual.

So, to celebrate our 10th birthday, we decided to update both the design and the story behind the logo. We decided to put the spotlight on what matters most to DAVID. Not the founder or the successes we’ve had, but the 350+ people that made, and continue to make, the agency what it is today. Cause DAVID is a collective story, not an individual one. We made a brand new identity with an adaptable logo, in which every employee has their own version, with their profile integrated into the letter D of the logo. The visual development also included a brand new taylor made typography, the DAVID Headline, which is featured in the logo and throughout the corporate material. It was made in partnership with Will Cega, a gifted brazilian designer, which lend all of his talent creating and coming up with this new font. The new ID is a clear way to highlight the importance of the work they do every day, and also to make each one feel a little more ownership of the agency and the work. DAVID's identity is modern, smart and gives an emotional new version of the agency, what it stands for, and who it is. Because our company is not just a name on the door. It’s the people behind it, that make it come alive.
