In 2018, we embarked on developing the Nike Mexico campaign for the FIFA World Cup, divided into two phases. Launched two months before the Cup, the first part addressed the period leading up to the tournament, while the second part was launched on the event itself. With the Mexican National Soccer Team aiming to overcome the "Curse of the fifth match". We approached the players and inquired about the solution to overcoming this curse. Their responses were transformed into impactful campaign. The Part 2 of our project draws deep inspiration from the profound roots of Mexico's ancient heritage, seeking to imbue football players with the indomitable spirit of our ancestors. We strive to establish a powerful connection between the timeless courage of our forebears and the current vigor of today's football players. Cultivating this blend of ancient and modern elements, we collaborated with the talented Mexican illustrator Raul Urias to craft a unique and contemporary style.
